Mental health conditions are often treated as simple chemical imbalances that can be fixed with medications. For many people, that explanation and those treatments only address part of the picture.
At our clinic, we take a broader approach.
As an integrative psychiatry practice, we combine evidence-based neuroscience with a deeper understanding of how the brain and body interact. We take the time to understand you as a whole person, including your story, your biology, and the deeper factors that may be shaping your symptoms.
By combining thoughtful psychiatric care with advanced neurotherapy options, help patients move beyond simple symptom management.
Through detailed consultations we search for the root causes of your symptoms and overlooked keys to your recovery to give you the best chance to heal.
Mental health isn’t isolated from physical health. Our approach integrates the latest neuroscience and holistic care to support your well-being on every level.
Our treatments incorporate the most up-to-date research in neuroscience and medicine, bringing cutting-edge approaches like neurotherapy and advanced diagnostics to your care.
Your story is unique, and your care should be too. Using evidence-based neuroscience and holistic therapies, we help you heal at every level — brain, body, and mind.

Because many of our patients require in-person visits, we work primarily with patients who live within driving distance of our office. Additionally, Dr. Chandra is only able to provide virtual consultations, when appropriate, to patients located in Maryland and Virginia.
Additionally, we do not provide one or short-term consultations. We work with patients toward long-erm healing.
Whenever appropriate, Dr. Chandra does help patients who are interested in coming off or reducing their dose and/or number of psychiatric medications. However, this is generally only done after a patient is both in a stable condition and some work has been done to address underlying issues. Therefore, the process of reducing medications does not usually begin in the initial few visits. Additionally, for some patients, longer-term treatment with medications may be indicated.
Our clinic does not have expertise in the following areas: substance abuse & addiction, cognitive decline, and psychotic disorders.
