Suruchi Chandra
Warmly,
I have spent the last fifteen years learning about evidence-based integrative approaches in psychiatry and continually stay up to date with the latest cutting-edge innovations in neuroscience to provide the best possible care. This clinic is the culmination of those efforts, combining treatment modalities that I believe are essential for long-term healing. I invite you to explore the integrative approach and discover the possibilities it offers.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to learn about integrative approaches to mental health, which use a wider lens to better understand the complexity of the brain and its connection to the body.. Although I was initially skeptical, I saw patients improve in ways I hadn’t seen before—they weren’t just managing symptoms, they were truly healing.
Becoming a doctor felt like a natural choice given my love for science and desire to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. Despite training in the country’s top psychiatric hospitals, however, I didn’t see patients getting well or thriving to the extent I believed they should. Instead, I saw patients being put on more and more medications, often without significant improvement but with increasing side effects.
In my pursuit of better treatments for my patients, I also discovered neurotherapy techniques that use cutting-edge neuroscience to tap into the brain's ability to rewire itself and heal. Therapies like neurofeedback and neuromodulation open new paths to healing, especially for patients who haven't responded to medications.
