Neuromodulation:
The Future of Psychiatry

DR. SURUCHI CHANDRA | NEUROTHERAPY SERVICES

Advancing your treatment.

Recent research in neuroscience has shown us that the brain is more than just biochemical neurotransmitters: it's actually a complex computational system. Neuromodulation techniques support the brain's electrical wiring by targeting specific areas with gentle stimulation (via light, current, and/or magnets). This allows us to tailor treatment to your unique symptoms and needs.

NeuroMODULATION INCORPORATES CUTTING-EDGE NEUROSCIENCE INTO YOUR TREATMENT.

PHOTOBIO-
MODULATION

Uses infrared and near-infrared light to promote cellular benefits.
It has shown promise in addressing depression and a range of other conditions.

TRANSCRANIAL
STIMULATION

PEMF
THERAPY

Our neuromodulation services:

Applies a gentle electric current to stimulate and exercise your brain for healthier functioning. We offer direct and alternating transcranial stimulation.

May promote healing at the cellular level. Our PEMF device uses a power weaker than most household appliances, resulting in minimal to no sensation.

These techniques are non-invasive, gentle, and well-tolerated for those who are seeking individualized treatments with fewer side-effects than conventional approaches.

How does neuromodulation treatment work?

VISUALIZE YOUR BRAIN

First, we use a qEEG brain map to measure your brainwave activity and target specific areas for improvement.

CREATE A TREATMENT PROTOCOL

Based on the results of your brain map, we integrate various neuromodulation techniques, including transcranial stimulation.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE

After one course of treatment*, we run a repeat qEEG brain map to measure changes in your brain's biology and to evaluate next steps.

* Treatment courses can vary depending on a patient's condition. Typically, patients come into our office 2-3 times per week for a total of 20-40 sessions. More complex conditions may require further sessions.
